Daniel Craig recently completed his second mission as James Bond. Early reviews are positive, and the best Bond since Sean Connery is signed on for at least two more flicks. Besides the improvement in Bond, himself, this latest incarnation of the slick 007 secret agent is bolstered by his credible leading ladies, Eva Green and Olga Kurylenko.

Denise Richard's painful performance as nuclear physicist Christmas Jones in The World Is Not Enough proved that the dapper Bond is better suited to a challenging leading lady who can keep up with him, both physically and mentally.

So which Hollywood actresses fit the bill as future notches on Bond's storied bedpost? Here's a countdown of 10 women we'd like to see.

10.		Kate Beckinsale The fit and limber Beckinsale has already proven herself in the action genre with the Underworld franchise. Now it's time to see her alongside Mr. Bond, fighting the good fight in evening wear.
9.		Jessica Biel If Denise Richard could be a Bond girl, then Biel should be a shoo-in. Her buxom, all-natural physique would turn any playboy's head and, like Beckinsale, she's already proven her action prowess.
8.		Nicole Kidman Halle Berry proved that Bond girls don't have to be unknowns and models. An Oscar no longer means a gal can't have a little fun sipping martinis on the Riviera with James. At 41, Kidman's leggy physique is still in top form, so why not see how Bond fairs with a lady more his own age?
7.		Lucy Liu Perennial go-to bag-girl Liu could be the perfect red herring for 007. Cast her against type as the good girl and let the surprise come when she doesn't turn out to be working for the other side.
6.		Reese Witherspoon Bond certainly has a type, but even he must get tired of the same old thing once in a while. Witherspoon's girl next door looks and Southern hospitality could be a welcome switch. Besides, who doesn't like a girl with a sense of humor?
5.		Kerry Washington Smart and sexy, this actress-on-the-rise keeps winding up in the wrong movies. Now that the Bond series is back on track, numero 23 could be just the right showcase for this tough girl's breakout.
4.		Salma Hayek Another actress with chops, Hayek oozes sexuality and looks good in pretty much anything (even a unibrow). We see her as the good girl gone bad, seducing an unsuspecting Bond right into the torture room so the bad guy can fully explain his plans of world domination.
3.		Keira Knightley She's already got the right accent and after courting by Orlando Bloom in three films, she could probably use a dose of real man. Knightley is versatile, able to "girl it up" when necessary and sell her smarts at the same time. Should Bond need to pair up with another scientist, we offer Knightley as a credible alternative to past mistakes.
2.		Angelina Jolie Easily the most obvious choice on the list, the question is whether this bad girl can tone down the vamp act long enough to make things interesting. She showcased a softer side in Changeling, so perhaps this sexy A-lister can make things interesting for James, though it's hard to imagine Jolie as the nice girl in a Bond flick.
1.		Megan Fox If this nubile young talent doesn't get Bond's blood boiling, well then, we'd have to say he's losing his touch. Fox is also well suited for a bad girl role, playing the pawn of another power hungry Bond foe employing her assets as bait by appealing to our hero's weakness for the perfect package.
