Last week Summit announced the complete cast for New Moon. Since many of the additions for the Twilight sequel are relatively unknown actors -- a practice the studio repeated from Twilight -- we put together a look at the new faces and their credentials.
The guide for the new wolf pack cast follows. You can find the new Volturi guide here. And if you're looking for details about the original actors (and ongoing, rest assured Taylor Lautner fans), see our Meet the Cast of Twilight. What do you think of these casting choices? Be sure to drop us a comment below.
Where you've seen him: As Jack Sinclair in the Canadian show Renegadepress.com.
In New Moon: Pelletier will be playing Quileute werewolf Jared. He's the first to phase after leader Sam and imprints on his crush, Kim.
Verdict: He has both the cropped dark hair and build down. Let's just hope he can act.
Where you've seen him: In the TV show Warrior, and as a warrior in the 2005 movie The New World. Oh, and possibly in some topless photos.
In New Moon: He'll be playing Paul, the bane of Jacob's last months of life as a human. The third member of the wolf pack, Paul is prone to angry outbursts and impromptu phasing.
Verdict: He looks the part and he seems pretty enthusiastic, too. We're most looking forward to seeing him transform into a massive, furry, silver wolf.
Where you've seen him: In low-key theater productions, mostly.
In New Moon: Quil, one of Jacob's best friends, is the last to learn of his wolf heritage. He imprints on Emily's two-year-old niece, Claire. But it's not creepy. At all.
Verdict: He looks mischievous and friendly, though we're not sure he's tall enough. Ah well, small details.
Where you've seen him: Nowhere! New Moon looks like his first role.
In New Moon: Embry is Jacob's other BFF, and possibly his half-brother. He never found out if he was, and neither did we.
Verdict: Tall, lanky, and shy is the order of the day for Embry, and Gordon seems to fit at least two of those, which is a good start.
Where you've seen him: In the TV movie Dreamkeeper and briefly in the mini-series Into the West.
In New Moon: Spencer is playing Sam, the first of the new-generation wolves and leader of the pack. He used to date Leah, then imprinted and got engaged to Emily Young. Responsible and strong, he's the perfect Alpha.
Verdict: He looks tough enough to play the part, and at least has some acting experience. Whether he'll be better than Solomon Trimble, we'll let the fans decide.
Where you've seen her: In the TV show Rabbit Fall and in the 2007 movie The Lookout with Isla Fisher. She's also a musician.
In New Moon: Emily is Leah's second cousin (awkward much?) and Sam's fiancée. The mother figure of the pack, she sports a nasty wolf claw scar down the right side of her face and on her arm.
Verdict: She looks the most Quileute of the teenage characters and is sure to be popular with male viewers.
