To say that we were saddened by the passing of Dom DeLuise is an understatement. This comedy legend, and favorite of Mel Brooks, has been responsible for some of the biggest movie laughs of all time. So to honor him, we take a moment to highlight some of his best comedic achievements in movies, including classic exchanges and quotes.

While only a cameo, DeLuise's Bernie the Agent is the catalyst for getting Kermit to go to Hollywood. Muppet fans are forever in his debt.

The outtakes playing over the credits should give you an idea of how much fun this movie is to watch. Of course, the camaraderie between DeLuise as Victor Prinsi and Burt Reynolds as J.J. McClure doesn't hurt either.

Making the most of his two minutes of screen time, DeLuise almost steals this comedy away from its stars. As director Buddy Bizarre, he highlights this absurd non-sequitur perfectly.
