Overall, what'd you think — good, bad, or meh?
I really enjoyed it. From this trailer, we can see that New Moon is really all about Jacob and Bella, and that's how it should be. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Team Edward girl all the way, but this is the set up for the love triangle in
Eclipse, and it's important to develop the relationship between Jake and Bella. The trailer helps me feel better that they're really going to do that.
Jacob's narration — necessary? Good or weird?
I'm going with weird. It was just distracting. I love Taylor, and I love hearing what he has to say, but I didn't like the interruptions.
What "scene" were you happiest to see in the trailer?
I loved the brief flashes of the Volturi. They look badass. Dakota Fanning's gonna kill some people today. The scenery for Volterra was awesome as well. Edward walking in to ask for death looks like something that will probably make me cry.
Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
The wolves are still on shaky ground with me, but I'm just not a big fan of CG in general. Other than that, I am even more excited to see this now, as impossible as that is.

Good! I love it ... I am so excited about New Moon!
Jacob's narration — necessary? Good or weird?
Necessary, it gives more depth of what goes on in New Moon.
What "scene" were you happiest to see in the trailer?
The scene in Italy ... looks so intense!
Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
Not really, I am so excited to see how it all plays out on screen.

Overall, what'd you think — good, bad, or meh?
Good. Actually, great. Fans have been assuming that the production quality would increase between Twilight and New Moon and this trailer really gives us our first glimpse. We have seen only bits and pieces before (the first trailer, the leaked Comic-Con clips), but this second trailer allows us to see more of the entire story and get an idea of Chris Weitz's vision for the look and feel of the film. It also looks that they stuck to the book fairly well, which readers of our site (as well as me) are very excited about.
Jacob's narration — necessary? Good or weird?
Weird. I don't think it was necessary and it was odd. Felt more like a featurette they show before the previews come on at the theater. The more I think about it, I wonder if they needed some sort of filler for the trailer. I hope that isn't the case. I just didn't care too much about what Taylor said because I already know it all anyway.
What "scene" were you happiest to see in the trailer?
Tie between Jacob climbing Bella's house to get to her window and Dakota Fanning as Jane. The scene I think I most hope they get right in New Moon is the Volturi lair and seeing Jane was our first glimpse (as well as a very quick shot of the Volturi in the background). But the scene of Jacob just shows me how much better the effects and stunts will be in New Moon. I love Twilight but anyone can see the low budget and "indie" feel of it mean that certain aspects aren't as good as they can be.
Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
I am a little concerned that, besides the wolf transformation we have already seen, we didn't see ANY major CGI in this new trailer. My guess is that it just isn't done, but I am still a bit worried about it. I think I will be rather forgiving of bad or only semi-acceptable CGI if everything else is well-done. Not my top priority.

Overall, what'd you think — good, bad, or meh?
It wasn't good, it was GREAT! It left me breathless. (Literally. I was hyperventilating.)
Jacob's narration — necessary? Good or weird?
It was kind of unexpected and unusual, but not bad. It was fun to get some more "drool over Taylor" time.
What "scene" were you happiest to see in the trailer?
I was happy with all of the scenes that were in the trailer, but my favorite had to be at the very end when Jacob says, "Don't make me upset." Ooh! Chills!
Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
Nope. My friend, who saw the trailer in theaters with me, and I both agreed that the New Moon movie is going to be way better than the Twilight movie.

Overall, what'd you think — good, bad, or meh?
Overall, I honestly thought the trailer was OK. While some of the high points were pretty amazing, at points it felt very repetitive (shirtless Jacob, Jacob being the "good friend," shirtless Jacob, etc.)
Jacob's narration — necessary? Good or weird?
Totally unnecessary. While Mr. Lautner is obviously a great speaker and provides us with very concrete opinions of the film, I would have rather seen a full-length trailer.
What "scene" were you happiest to see in the trailer?
Despite the fact that we got to see a steamy Edward-Bella make out session and an almost Jacob-Bella kiss, it was the first look at Dakota Fanning as Jane and the tiny look at the Volturi lair that completely stole the show. I mean, come on, it freaking fantastic.
Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
The only real problem I had with the trailer was that it made it seem as if Bella had gotten over Edward and had moved onto a relationship with Jake. The second book in the saga focuses on Bella basically breaking down after Edward leaves her and Jacob is there to help put her back together. He obviously falls for her but she doesn't really until later on in the series (even then it's sort of complicated). I'm only worried that they are pushing the love triangle so much that Edward and Bella's struggles are looked over.

Overall, what'd you think — good, bad, or meh?
I am very happy with the trailer, as I was with the clips at Comic-Con. I think the quality is up and that pleases me. I KNOW it has to emphasize Jacob. That is the tension in New Moon That is what makes it such a great book, leaving you crazy to know if Edward will ever come back or if Bella will just settle.
Jacob's narration — necessary? Good or weird?
It is a different approach, not so much a movie preview as a chat. I think it all adds to the build of Jacob taking over in Bella's life and the desire/obsession to see Edward once again.
What "scene" were you happiest to see in the trailer?
Like most people, I assume, it was the quick look at Edward. I did a stop action to see his face. You don't know exactly why he is showing up however, since he is wearing a red robe and he looks upset. Maybe he joined the Volturi? People who have read the story can probably figure out where it fits in but others might be left hanging a bit.
Was there anything that made you leery about the adaptation?
I'm not particularly thrilled with the wolf transformation or, oddly enough, with how Jacob climbed the tree to Bella's room. It looked fake. Sorry. And the wolves look like just wolves, not huge scary things. This is at least the second time we have seen the transformation and it fails to impress me again.
