  • Lohman taking Page's place in Hell

Alison LohmanAlison Lohman, last seen in Beowulf as the Nordic monster-slayer's jailbait wife, has signed on to star in Drag Me to Hell, the first post-Spider-Man project from director Sam Raimi. According to Variety, Lohman will take the place of Juno's Ellen Page, who departed the supernatural thriller just a few days ago because of those ever-pesky "scheduling issues."

Drag Me to Hell represents Raimi's return to the genre that made him famous after taking a lengthy detour to make the three Spider-Man movies, which I'm told were somewhat successful. The script was co-written by Sam and his brother Ivan.
