After taking a lengthy break out of respect for the untimely death of star Heath Ledger, it appears that the mischievous folks behind the remarkably thorough viral marketing campaign for the upcoming Batman sequel The Dark Knight have resumed their wacky ways -- on April Fool's Day, of course. The web is awash today with reports of new TDK tidbits, including two new websites: Concerned Citizens for a Better Gotham (ccfabg.org -- the .org part is particularly inspired), which decries Gotham DA Harvey Dent as "corrupt, media crazed inquisitor"; and The Clown Travel Agency (clowntravelagency.com), which apparently is scattering Joker-inspired travel bags around various major cities (head to Collider.com for a report on the Sao Paolo bag).
Both sites are achingly slow right now, so you'll have to be patient.
