Signers of an online petition are attempting to accomplish what a slew of critically-assailed box office bombs have heretofore failed to: Stop German director Uwe Boll from making any more movies. When the folks at FEARnet.com asked Boll about the petition, which has thus far garnered an impressive 63,000-plus signatures, the schlockmeister responsible for such masterworks as Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne and most recently In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale -- movies that have all garnered single-digit ratings on the RottenTomatoes.com Tomatometer -- declared that it would take one million signatures to convince him to quit the business.
1,000,000 is an ambitious number, yes, but an achievable one. If you'd like to see the Teutonic menace end his assault on cinema, head over to petitiononline.com and add your name to the list.
