Matthew Fox is a busy man these days, what with doctoring all those plane crash survivors while still managing to keep that 
beard stubble at a perfectly sexy length on ABC's Lost.
Not one to rest on his laurels (or anything else), the Party of Five alum will be using his summer hiatus from the Lost to shoot the Wachowski Bros.' movie adaptation of Speed Racer. Fox has signed on to play Speed Racer's rival, Racer X.
He joins Emile Hirsch as Speed Racer, Christina Ricci as Trixie, John Goodman as Pops and Susan Sarandon as Pop's wife. And if I knew anything at all about Speed Racer, that would mean something to me.
