• Twilight V. Potter: Who Will Win?

  A new epic superhero battle is upon us. Batman and the Joker? Superman and Lex Luthor? I laugh. It's vampires versus wizards, and it's for serious.

  Indeed, this winter, the sixth installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and the first in Stephenie Meyer's vampire series, Twilight, will be coming out within weeks of each other and the tweeners are going to be beating each other with their scooters to get to the movie theater.

  I'll add to the post above that there are plenty of Twilight and Harry Potter fans who aren't tweens either. I'm old enough to have a tween of my own and I'm rather obsessed with both Harry Potter and Twilight, but for very different reasons. I think both movies are going to do extremely well this winter and I can't wait to be at the midnight opening of both. There is a lot of cross-over appeal and I'm sure that Harry Potter fans who haven't read Twilight will at least recognize Robert Pattinson from his Cedric Diggory days and will be intrigued to see the movie. Go Team Edward! The baseball scene is going to rock!

  Scooters? Really? If your going to insult twilight fans at least choose something in our era. Most of the twilight fans I know can drive and none of them have used a scooter for years (at least as far as I know) are those things even still in style? Oh- and you are trying to insult teenage girls (mostly) does that make you proud?
  I would love those videos if they weren't so sarcastic about twilight's sucess. I know it is pretty far fetched that it would beat Harry Potter but isn't it impressive that the possibility is even being discussed? I mean twilight has not had as much time or advertizing going into making it as popular as Harry Potter.
