  The Dailies newsroom is reporting that The Dark Knight has burst out of the gate with $66 million on Friday, the new all-time opening day box office record.
  
  The number trumps Spider-Man 3's record $59.8 million opening day and puts The Dark Knight well on its way to toppling Spider-Man 3's $151 million opening weekend record.
