  • Double Ben Replace Ebert and Roeper

There's no love lost between ABC and longtime At the Movies co-hosts Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper.

Just a day after Ebert and Roeper's announcements that they were departing the show and Roeper's subsequent jab at the powers that be, Variety reports that ABC has already found two new hosts.

Ben Mankiewicz has been the co-host on Turner Classic Movies for the past five years as well as hosting the obscure radio show The Young Turks.

Mankiewicz is joined by Ben Lyons from E! News, The Daily Ten and his own The Lyon's Den.

Ben Lyons is one of the WORST movie reviewers in the business and I find his reviews both sophmoric and just plain stupid. I loved Ebert and Roper, but this Ben squared thing proves the dumming-down of the American moviegoer, and the fall of the appreciation of art in film. I mean look at the guy, he's got a beer bong wrapped around his neck. Anyone who thinks that Into the Wild was better than No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood doesn't know a thing about movies!
