  • New Dragonball Footage, Same Epic Befuddlement

Goku, as seen in the videogame "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3"Earlier this month a trailer for Dragonball, the new live-action flick based on the popular Manga comic, emerged on the web and was roundly panned on assorted blogs and discussion boards (though it should be noted that ReelzChannel.com user "rabidweasl" thought it was pretty B.A.). I confessed to utter befuddlement at the clip, a disparate collection of images featuring attractive young martial artists, a guy who looks like Pinhead, and Chow Yun Fat.

Today new footage labeled "Goku Makes a Discovery" popped up on Aceshowbiz.com, and it sadly brings me no closer to understanding just what the heck this Dragonball flick is supposed to be about. To be fair, the clip's brevity (barely 16 seconds long) doesn't necessarily help matters, nor does the fact that it's narrated entirely in Japanese.

Looks like it might be time to do some research. Check back in the coming weeks for our introductory guide to all things Dragonball.

      that footage wasn't the trailer : http://www.dragonballmovieblog.net/2008/10/we-havent-seen-the-theatrical-trailer-yet-and-we-wont-see-it-with-max-payne/

And the new footage? Waaaay too short to actually give you anything on what the movie's about/going to be like. However, fans have been very appreaciative of it.
