The secret to winning over Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson,
it seems, is to play hard to get. That's what Swiss-bred filmmaker Marc Forster
(The Kite Runner, Stranger than Fiction) did when the longtime Bond producers
offered him the director's job on Quantum of Solace. "I don't want to do a
Bond movie," Forster told the caretakers of the 007 franchise. "I
have no interest."
Still, Broccoli and Wilson
persisted, and it appears their efforts have paid off. Learn more about the
quirky man behind Quantum of Solace's camera in our interview with Marc
Forster. Then check out our Olga Kurylenko interview for a revealing chat with the feisty Ukrainian model-turned-actress who plays the newest Bond girl.
