  • Coraline Scatters Illuminated Letters Across the Internet

CoralineContinuing their quirky internet-savvy marketing campaign, the makers of Coraline are marking the launch of their new website with a scattering of illuminated alphabet cards across the web. The spooky letters tease the Alice-in-Wonderland-like aesthetic of the movie and accent the tagline of the flick: "Be careful what you wish for."

In one card, a Q bares its teeth and comes with the warning "Q is for quick and it's what you must be, to avoid snapping snapdragons that nip at your sleeves." E gets a bit darker, sprouting menacing arms and pointing to the entrance "where a wicked witch hunts for souls she can plunder." And C naturally stands for "Coraline -- brave little girl, who unlocks a door to a whole different world."
