  • Olivia Wilde talks Tron 2.0

Olivia WildeCameras have yet to roll on Tron 2.0, and won't until March, but doesn't mean Olivia Wilde (TV's House) can't start giving away a few spoilers about the sequel. First, Wilde confirmed Bruce Boxleitner's association. "He's so fantastic, Bruce," she told SCI FI Wire, "He's been telling us all about the process of making the first one."

As far as the technical side goes, a lot of advancements have been made in movie making since 1982. Several new technologies will be used, including the face replacement technology used in Benjamin Button, but Wilde says Tron 2.0 will not be some greenscreen movie created on computers. Director Joseph Kosinski is "a really big fan of using as much sets as you can, because he's an architect as well, so he likes to build these worlds. And with something like Tron, I think it helps to create the environment as much as possible without too much green screen so that these characters can exist within this world, ... with the feel ... as real as possible."

Wilde didn't give away everything. When it comes to whether she will ride a light cycle, she won't say. "I'm afraid I'd be murdered before I left the building [if I told you]."

Next Showing: Tron 2.0 opens sometime in 2010
