  • Fast & Furious' New Model: Sexy Beanpole Gal Gadot

Gal GadotIn the world of high-stakes street racing, timing is everything. And so far, we'd have to say the timing of Fast & Furious is a little off. As we already noted yesterday, there's an awful lot of running in the new trailer. Obviously, the movie was filmed when gas was four bucks a gallon, and with Vin Diesel no longer the surefire box office draw he once was, well, you gotta economize, right? So, more foot chases, fewer car chases. Of course, gas prices have since calmed a bit, and had the franchise's fourth installment been ready to roll a month ago, when gas was gloriously cheap, audiences would have no doubt flocked to theaters to celebrate the return of rival petro-holics Dom Toretto and Brian O'Conner.

Unfortunately, the movie's editors weren't working fast and furious enough, and now that gas is topping two bucks a gallon again, mindless fuel consumption no longer seems so sexy. Luckily, the movie has one alternative energy source working in its favor: Maxim cover model and former fitness instructor in the Israeli Defense Forces, Gal Gadot. At a reported 94 lbs., the 5' 11" beauty may not pack the obvious wallop of, say, her more sturdily built Fast & Furious co-star Michelle Rodriguez. But if you like your Hollywood bombshells as slim and tapered as a Tomahawk warhead, Gadot may qualify as your new dream gal. We can't say for certain though, because even after multiple viewings of the new new trailer, we're not sure if she appears in it or not. Maybe she's just standing sideways.
