Fans will get to enjoy X-Men Origins: Wolverine a few days earlier. According to DenofGeek, instead of opening on Friday, May 1, Wolverine will open on Wednesday, April 29. Considering that sequels are riding on Wolverine's success, an earlier opening may be a good thing.
New photos of Wolverine were published in a preview article in French Magazine Climax, including a boxing brawl between Wolverine and Blob, and the inclusion of an intriguing co-star, Scott Summers, aka Cyclops. James Marsden played Cyclops in the X-Men movies, but newcomer Tim Pocock will be playing the role in Wolverine. Having Cyclops in the movie is not news, however, as this is one of the first times Pocock has been included in the press for the movie, we're prompted to wonder if Summers' appearance is more than just a cameo.
