The action figure toy industry has spoiled many a movie, and in this case they've given us our first look at the heretofore unseen villain of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
Coming to us by way of MTV, the toy pic shows Joe's arch-nemesis with a hockey-like face mask, holding a giant syringe...or is that a gun?
Initial fan reaction isn't kind. Here's a taste......
Come on man! When is Hollycrap going to learn just to leave perfection alone! The original Cobra Commander from the cartoon was perfect -- with the Star Wars helmet and his evil yet annoying voice.
This isn't the first time, nor will it be the last, that Hollywood has put its own stamp on a character and pretty much changes it completely from the original. What are your thoughts about the Commander's new look?
