Now that the cat's out of the bag with a full-length screening in Austin and the official world premiere in Sydney, two more scenes from J.J. Abrams' Star Trek have trickled online. Both play up the humor and highlight the way key characters have diverged from the original -- basic personalities intact but re-imagined and revved up for a 21st century audience. We get a glimpse of what Chris Pine meant when he said that the reboot had been "sexed up for a new generation." It's no intergalactic flying orgy, but this Kirk is definitely stepping out of the shadow of his predecessor when he tries to pick up Uhura at a bar by remarking that she has a "talented tongue." And Karl Urban's shockingly unspaceworthy McCoy takes it up a notch as well reciting a litany of phobias and blandly warning Kirk "I might throw up on you."
