  • Wolverine Sequel Already in the Works, and More Plans for Hugh Jackman

Earlier today, Empire reported that plans for a sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine are already underway. The story will take place in Japan, with Wolverine learning the ways of the Samurai and falling in love with the daughter of a Yakuza family.

Empire also reported that Hugh Jackman has a slew of projects forthcoming. These include Drive, in which he'll play a race-car driver/getaway man; Personal Security, in which he'll play a thick-skinned detective serving as a bodyguard to a spoiled teenage girl; and Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical Carousel, in which he'll play the male lead, Billy Bigelow.
