  • New Moon Stars Talk Key Scenes

B/E TrailerMTV recently spoke to the cast of New Moon, who revealed a few important details about the upcoming movie.

Edward actor Robert Pattinson said of the movie's scale, "I liked doing Twilight, but it felt very much like an indie movie -- and [New Moon] definitely feels like it's a big movie." Mike Welch, the man behind Bella-admirer Mike Newton, talked about the Bella-Jacob-Mike date scene from the book, and attributed its inclusion in the movie to co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

The Twilight Saga's New Moon Poster Released
Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner had to lobby to get this one scene in the film that wasn't originally in -- and I am forever indebted to them for that. There's a scene that's in the book, the three-way date between Jacob and Bella and Mike, where Mike ends up getting sick, and it's just very awkward.

Ashley Greene also confirmed Alice's Porsche-stealing scene had been filmed, and said "It was really fun." Twilighters can now relax and stop worrying about director Chris Weitz, as it looks like all their favorite scenes will be included in the movie. As long as he doesn't mess up the much adored semi-proposal, he'll be sure to stay on fans' good sides.

I already love Chris Weitz!! He is kicking Catherines butt... i'll tell you that much. I love that they are going to have the date scene. That is such a funny/cute part of the book... and the last night Bella gets to spend with human Jacob. I CAN'T WAIT!!! IT IS KILLING ME!!! I hope the director for Eclipse is just as good!!
