  • Nicolas Cage Wants a Completely Different Ghost Rider

Ghost RiderFor fans who felt Ghost Rider didn't live up to expectations, Nicolas Cage has some comforting words regarding the sequel. In an interview with MTV, Cage spoke of Ghost Rider 2 becoming more of a reboot than a typical sequel.

Without talking too much about it... I would like to do a reconceive. I would like to go in a whole other direction. I think that's what they're talking about. I would make it much less of a western and more of an international story.

The international angle Cage is referring to may be a teaming of Ghost Rider with the Catholic Church; a potentially darker version of Ghost Rider not unlike the "philosophical" one Cage described previously.
