  • New Moon Casting: Not Nearly Enough Noot Seear

Noot SeearIf we've got one complaint about the casting for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, it's that there's not a larger role for Canadian model and "Kate Moss 2.0" Noot Seear, who plays a small role as Heidi, a member of the Volturi (an elite group of vampires for the uninitiated).

On casting Seear, director Chris Weitz said, "We wanted someone who had an unearthly and unlikely beauty," and as a bonus he got someone with an unearthly and unlikey name. According to Woman's Wear Daily she's already got her dress picked out for the premiere, and is anxiously awaiting the Heidi action figure. As we all are.
