The A-Team is almost completely cast. Liam Neeson is signed on to play Hannibal, with Bradley Cooper playing Face, and now The Vancouver Sun reports that UFC world light-heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will play B.A. Baracus in Joe Carnahan's upcoming remake of the popular TV show.
Jackson has been rumored to be up for the part, played by Mr. T in the TV show, and nearly confirmed it when he used his Twitter page in August to announce the following:
just got home from da club in Vancouver i love dis place! cant wait to come back,ya feel me told ya to day would B A good day!
Jackson's manager denied the casting shortly thereafter, but now the Sun has found Jackson on the streets of Vancouver, where he will spend the next six weeks working on the movie. Jackson seems like a perfect pick for the part, since like Mr. T he has quite a prediliction for huge metal chains. All that's left is fearing air travel and pitying fools.
The only A-Team character left to cast is Capt. "Howling Mad" Murdock.
