The countdown to Zombieland's October 2 release date is on, and Columbia Pictures has unleashed some new photos of the upcoming "zom-com," that are heavy on the movie's terrifying zombie clown, plus two new TV spots.
Director Ruben Fleischer is also getting into the act, telling the LA Times that Zombieland won't be the typical zombie movie, but more like watching the Superbad guys trying to outrun the living dead.
Zombies are more of a backdrop than the impetus for the relationship [between the characters] itself. It's one of those things where you have to manage to stay alive and avoid getting eaten by zombies, but other than that there's nothing to do.
Fleischer also used his Twitter page to tease audiences into staying in their seats.
Just a heads up, I think it's worth staying through the end of the credits of Zombieland.
Consider us teased! Now enjoy the new TV spots below.
