Director Adam McKay's newest film, The Other Guys, beefed up its cast with three new additions: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Steve Coogan. Described as an action comedy, The Other Guys stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as a couple of second-string cops who are envious of an elite cop duo. Johnson and Jackson will play the elite cops, while the other recent addition, Coogan, will play the film's villain.
The Other Guys is being produced by Mosaic and Gary Sanchez Productions. The script is by McKay and Chris Henchy, the writer of Ferrell's latest film, Land of the Lost.
