  • Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. Team Up Again for Due Date

    Jamie Foxx Jamie Foxx has been added to the cast of Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures' latest Todd Phillips (The Hangover) comedy, Due Date. He joins Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis.

    Foxx and Downey Jr. recently starred in The Soloist together, a drama by Joe Wright about the true story of Nathaniel Ayers (Foxx), a talented musician who becomes homeless after developing schizophrenia, and Steve Lopez (Downey Jr.), a Los Angeles Times columnist who writes about him for the paper.

    In Due Date, Downey Jr. will star as a stressed-out father who hitches a ride from a college student (Galifianakis) in the hopes of making it to his child's birth on time. Foxx will play a longtime friend of Downey Jr.'s character who once dated his wife (played by Michelle Monaghan) and has maintained a secret relationship with her.


    Next Showing: Due Date is currently slated for a November 5, 2010 release
