Actor
Hugh Jackman's penchant for singing and dancing is well known, as is the musical side of
Robert Pattinson, who recorded tracks for the
Twilight and
New Moon soundtracks. But
singing karaoke ... to ABBA? According to what Pattinson told the
Sydney Morning Herald, that's exactly what the two actors did to bond in anticipation of starring together in actress
Madeleine Stowe's directorial debut,
Unbound Captives.
We met up in Japan and we went karaoke singing. We were singing ABBA songs, it was pretty funny. It was sort of an ABBA song sing-off, you know, last man standing.
So who won the competition, Edward Cullen or Wolverine? Apparently, claws beat fangs when it comes to Swedish pop.
I think [Hugh] won, only because he can drink more than me and still sing in tune. He's a cool guy and I'm really looking forward to that film.
Stowe also wrote the screenplay for Unbound Captives, which is expected to begin filming before the end of the year. Rachel Weisz and Garret Dillahunt also star.
