  • Clive Owen and Catherine Keener Gain David Schwimmer's Trust

Variety writes that Clive Owen and Catherine Keener have agreed to star in Trust, an upcoming drama being directed by David Schwimmer. Owen and Keener will play the parents of a 14-year-old girl victimized by an online sexual predator. Liana Liberato, who already has several TV credits, will portray the daughter in her first movie.

Schwimmer authored the story, which is being scripted by Andy Bellin. This will be Schwimmer's second feature as a director. He also helmed the 2007 comedy Run Fatboy Run, which he co-wrote with Simon Pegg (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) and Michael Ian Black (Michael & Michael Have Issues, The State). In addition, Schwimmer directed the TV comedy series Little Britain USA, as well as several episodes of Friends.

Trust begins shooting a couple weeks from now in Michigan. No release date has been set.
