It was a bloodbath at the box office this weekend, with six new releases competing for eyeballs. In the end, TMNT came out on top with a gross of a little over $25 million. 300 remained strong, coming in second with $20 million. Shooter placed third with a $14.5 million take, while Wild Hogs continued its bewildering box office run, bringing in $14.3 million. (My theory: teenagers bought tickets to Wild Hogs and snuck into 300 and The Hills Have Eyes 2.) Rounding out the top five was The Last Mimzy, with a somewhat disappointing take of $10.2 million.
