While Daniel Radcliffe attempts to broaden his horizons, a certain besbectacled wizard follows closely behind. Just as Peter Shaffer's Equus is commonly referred to as "the play in which Harry Potter shows his schlong," Rod Hardy's new flick December Boys will likely be remembered by many as "the movie in which Harry Potter gets laid." Such is the inevitable consequence of playing one of the most beloved characters in recent cinematic history.
At last week's press day for December Boys, co-star Teresa Palmer reflected on popping Radcliffe's (on-screen) cherry.
"It was very interesting to film," she remarked, referring to the much talked-about scene in which her character seduces Radcliffe's. "It's always very awkward doing a scene like that, but it's probably my favorite scene in the film."
And how does she rate his performance? "Well, I think there's a lot of envious Harry Potter fans out there," she joked. "He's so charming and so sweet, especially in the intimate scenes between the two of us where he was so vulnerable and nervous and awkward. It was really beautiful to watch."
