  • Juno, Bardem gain steam at film festivals

News from the film festival circuit confirms that Jason Reitman's comedy, Juno, and actor Javier Bardem are ones to watch this awards season.

Juno, about an unhappily pregnant 16-year-old, won the top prize at last weekend's Rome Film Fesitval--this is in addition to winning accolades at Telluride and Toronto.

And the Santa Barbara Film Festival announced that it will be giving Javier Bardem its Montecito Award for his performance in the Coen Brothers' upcoming No Country For Old Men.

Definitely two to track as the awards ceremonies start happening.
