Christmas comes early in Hollywood. Vince Vaughn's comedy Fred Claus is the first of this year's Holiday-themed releases to arrive at the Cineplex, squaring off against Robert Redford's political flick Lions for Lambs. The Coen Brothers' No Country for Old Men debuts in select theaters, carrying with it heaps of Oscar buzz.
A rundown of our reviews of this weekend's new releases:
Fred Claus
"Sure, it's sappy and sentimental, but so is Christmas. I only wish it were funnier." [Full Review]
Lions for Lambs
"A dull disappointment...not only did I find the end unsatisfying, it actually made me angry." [Full Review]
No Country for Old Men
"The Coens return to their darker, earlier days and Brolin and Bardem deliver terrific performances." [Full Review]
