Looks like all those unanswered questions from The Mummy Returns will finally be addressed. Variety reported yesterday that Mummy star Brendan Fraser has signed on for a third installment of the shockingly lucrative franchise, which has bilked moviegoers for over $800 million worldwide to date.
Fraser's co-star Rachel Weisz, however, will not be returning. What, a girl wins an Oscar, stars in some smarty-pants sci-fi flick and suddenly she's too good for the Mummy? The nerve.
