number two best opening weekend for a Pixar movie is Finding Nemo, which opened with $70.2 million.
In first place is The Incredibles, which made $70.4 million in its first weekend. The
Incredibles went on to gross a total of
$261.4 million and Finding Nemo
pulled in $339.7 million, which is Pixar’s best grossing film ever. Wall-E’s
$62.5 million weekend proves that it is in good company in terms of other Pixar
flicks and it will look to make quite a bit of dough in the days to come.
