Simply put, Pulp Fiction is the pulp fiction of a kid's way of looking at the adult world. We feel like time travellers, as not only the plot is out of chronology, but the props and sets also. Although it is set in fairly modern times, we have a definite seventies look with lack of billboards, rotary phones, and other signs of past times. The characters all carry guns, and say and do things that kids say and do in make believe. Some of it is funny, notable the hysterical pawn shop scene, which carries this weak film the same way the log scene carries "King Kong". Most scenes are pretty poor. But an interesting concept of a young sevenites kid imagining a future world.
