A cornerstone film of cinema history. This is the vintage Hollywood studio system at its best and most productive. The music remains sterling, performances perfectly pitched and the design continues to captivate despite tech advances in the nearly 80 years since its release. A well-adapted version of Baum's 1900 children's novel, it proves that all the trimmings, costumes

Judy Garland passed away from a drug overdose.They should have made a sequel to this movie before she died.She will be sadly missed by her fans.R.I.P. Judy Garland
