This seems to me the quintessential gothic love tragedy. And the Phantom is therefore the ultimate goth hero. Love the movie, love the tensions between the characters. Too bad the phantom wasted his emotion on a teenage girl, but we love who we love...great movie, I watch it at least twice a week and am moved to tears each time.

OMG! I'm 16 and i can not get enough of this movie. Kristein totaly belongs with the phontom and i bawled when she ended up with that other guy. I luv it!
