Death at a Funeral is an indie comedy about an English family who just wants everything to go right at a funeral--and everything that of course goes wrong. Cleverly written by
Dean Craig (a surprise to me, since he also wrote the disasterous
Caffeine), this English farce may not have a lot of stars Americans will recognize, but that shouldn't keep you out of the theater. In the amply talented hands of director
Frank Oz,
Death at a Funeral is smart, light, and funny. Who knew the man behind Miss Piggy (literally) did English humor so well? Definitely worth the price of admission.
