  On Starz, Nicolas Cage is a clairvoyant magician who becomes the target of FBI agents in the sci-fi thriller Next.

  On Cinemax, versatile funnyman Eddie Murphy plays a million different characters in the blockbuster comedy Norbit.

• Box Office Report: Saving Up for Spidey

  It was a slow weekend at the cineplex, with movie fans apparently saving up for the May 4th release of Spider-Man 3. Newly-crowned box office heavyweight Shia LaBeouf's Disturbia led the box office for the third week in a row with a tally of $9.1 million, according to boxofficemojo.com. Teenage supernatural thriller The Invisible led new releases with $7.6 million, while Nicolas Cage's Next limped to a disappointing $7.2 million tally. Rounding out the top five were Fracture and Blades of Glory, which took in $7 million and $5.2 million, respectively.

• Phillip K. Dick's Next

  Eternally popular sci-fi novelist Phillip K. Dick has another adaptations of one of his stories hitting screens nationwide today, the thriller Next. It's based of Dick's short story "The Golden Man" and stars Nicolas Cage, Jessica Biel and Julianne Moore.

  ReelzChannel.com's Heather Huntington got the chance to sit down with Next's Executive Producer Jason Koornick and writer/executive producer Gary Goldman at Goldman's house recently. It was a great interview and you can check out the first part right here.

• Hollywood loves Dick

  Famed science fiction novelist Philip K. Dick has left quite a mark on the movie industry over the past several decades, with his books and short stories providing the inspiration for such films as Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, A Scanner Darkly and more. Dick's thought-provoking works have triggered more college dorm room debates than all of Dave Matthews's albums combined -- not bad for a writer who died a quarter century ago.
