Perennial "troubled actor" Alec Baldwin is urging folks to boycott his latest movie, Shortcut to Happiness, The New York Post's Page Six reports.
Baldwin directed and starred in the flick, based on Stephen Vincent Benet's short story "The Devil and Daniel Webster," way back in 2001. The film, which also stars Dan Aykroyd and Jennifer Love Hewitt, was buried by studio execs, presumably after they discovered that the film also stars Dan Aykroyd and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Six years later it's been resurrected, re-cut and renamed, prompting Baldwin to demand that his name be removed from the director credits.
Curious to see what Alec is so angry about? Shortcut to Happiness opens in six cities tomorrow.
