Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who

It was cute. It's a good movie for little kids, but anyone over the age of 7 would get pretty bored. At least they did Dr. Suess justice this time.

I have a question about the movie. I have a friend who really wants to see it. And he'll probably offer to take me to it. But I have a question about it that I would like to have answered before I go to it. Did they completely modernize the dialogue to it? I saw commercials on tv for the Scooby Doo movie that was out not too long ago. And they were hard to watch because they showed Scooby Doo saying things like "Keepin' It Real" and Daphne saying things like "Straight Up". Please tell me they didn't modernize the dialogue too much in Horton Hears A Who. Did they?
