Jack and Morgan team up for Rob Reiner's best film in years.

I'll admit it. The Bucket List looks like a movie aimed sqaurely at my parents. Or maybe even grandparents. But if you can get past the Grumpy Old Men-type plot device, you should find yourself pleasantly surprised by this touching portrayal of friendship. If nothing else, you've got two of the greatest living actors on screen together for an entire film, so how bad could it be? In truth, The Bucket List is a very enjoyable little movie with the expected great performances from Nicholson and Freeman. They have great chemistry together through both the funny and the sad moments of the film. Finally, it represents a surprising return to form for Rob Reiner, who hasn't delivered a film this effective since 1995's The American President. The Bucket List might not be a masterpiece, but it succeeds as a well-made, very entertaining character piece that will keep audiences entertained and perhaps even a little pensive about their lives.

I enjoyed The Bucket List. It was interesting how two grumpy old men from totally different walks of life end up becoming best of friends. Nicholson and Freeman were great together. They're both on my list of favorite actors.

The Bucket List is one of the few movies that make you laugh, cry, and wish the movie would never end. With great perfomances from Nicholson and Freeman put watch The Bucket List on your bucket list.
