Our DVD pick for the week is Transformers,which finally arrives on Blu-ray today. Now fans can scrutinize every frame ofOptimus Prime's transformation in sparkling hi-def while taking advantage of avariety of special features, including a picture-in-picture "heads updisplay," commentary by director Michael Bay, and a variety of featuretteschronicling the making of the blockbuster film.
Fans can also go online with Sony's BD Live andaccess a variety of web-exclusive content. Paramount promises to add Transformers-relatedgoodies on a regular basis (including, we hope, an advanced look at nextsummer's much-anticipated sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen).
