The box office got a much needed shot of adrenaline this weekend as two fan favorites battled it out for tops. In the end, the combo of Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the family-friendly PG-13 Forbidden Kingdom proved too much for the latest gross out comedy from the Apatow gag, Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Kingdom ended up with a $20.8 million take while Sarah Marshall took in $17.3 mil. Last weekend's top flick, Prom Night, took the third spot with $9.1 million while the weekend's other major new release, the critically lambasted Al Pacino starrer 88 Minutes, made $6.8 million for fourth place.

This weekend Forgetting Sarah Marshall officially announces the arrival of Russell Brand in America and Brand isn't missing a beat. He's already signed to co-star opposite Jonah Hill in another Apatow comedy and he will next be starring opposite Adam Sandler in Bedtime Stories.
We went straight to the source during our exclusive interview with Brand to ask about the Adam Sandler project.
"[My character]'s called Mickey and it's a Disney movie, so that's really exciting. I'm Adam Sandler's comic foil... Sort of a grubby room service waiter that ultimately gets the girl... It's a good part. It's all the way through the film."
More on Brand and his future projects to come!

Russell Brand has arrived in America and if you don't know who he is just yet, you soon will.
As Brit rocker Aldous Snow in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, the fast-talking, seat-of-you-pants comedy stylings of Brand steal more than a few scenes. And believe it or not, aside from the singing, his Sarah Marshall alter-go isn't that far off from who he is in real life.
Brand has been a sensation in Britain for a few years now, VJ'ing on MTV Britain, hosting radio and internet shows and writing an autobiography ("My Booky Wook") that will soon be adapted into a movie.
ReelzChannel.com had a very entertaining interview with the incomparable Brand during which he gave us the back story of his career, some tips on clearning the homeless and how he got fired from MTV for dressing as Osama Bin Laden on September 12, 2001. Seriously! Check out our full Russell Brand interview right here.

Up until recently, Jason Segel has been more of a familiar face than household name. As with fellow Apatow grad Seth Rogen, life is about to change for the likable Segel. You might remember him best as Rogen's friend Jason in Knocked Up (the guy who goes out clubbing with Rogen's Ben Stone the night the accidental pregnancy is conceived). Segel is also on the popular TV show How I Met Your Mother and got his start in the little scene but beloved Apatow shows Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared.
Now that Apatow has gone from critically-acclaimed-but-financially-strapped to rolling in dough from 40-Year-Old-Virgin and Knocked Up, he's sharing the wealth. He helped Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg get their long-gestating coming-of-age comedy Superbad produced last year and now Jason Segel is getting that same chance as the writer and star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
Check out our revealing Exclusive Interview with Jason Segel where we discuss puppet threesomes, prepping a nude scene and more.

The beautiful Mila Kunis is right on the verge of transitioning from TV to big screen pin-up girl. As the anti-Sarah Marshall in the upcoming Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Kunis is every broken-hearted man's post-breakup fantasy girl.
ReelzChannel.com spoke to Kunis about keeping up with the talented improv cast of an Apatow production, the Universal marketing bonanza and, well, penises and boobies. Honestly, I'm not making this up. Check out the full Mila Kunis interview to see for yourself!
