As "true to the original" as this may try to be, please remember that JASON never really appears until the 2nd Friday the 13th movie. The mother was the killer in the first one, and she only mentions the son. In part 2, he comes back to "...(Read full post...)

Empbosox, I agree. Jason was only in flashbacks and a dream and he was only a kid. Probably another remake that should not have been made (like Halloween). Why didn't they go with the original idea, jasons mother extracting revenge.
