Hollywood has long harbored a bizarre fascination with cute, furry animals, but in recent years, movies involving pets of various types have become so common that they've earned their own genre classification: Petsploitation. With one petsploitation flick, Marley & Me, dominating the box office and another, Hotel for Dogs, opening this week, the genre is more robust than ever.

Think human movie stars have a pretty nice gig? According to this Miami Herald story, the titular pooch from the upcoming Marley and Me was actually played by 22 different labradors. 22 actors to play one part! And they didn't even have to learn any lines! While we've never actually seen an Olsen Twins movie, we're pretty sure even they don't have it that easy.

Jennifer Aniston
with dog, clothes.
Is lonely spinsterhood the best revenge? Jennifer Aniston, wearing only a tie and the confident smile of an already beautiful woman who knows she's about to be airbrushed into even more stunning perfection, graces the cover of GQ this month, and her nearly-40-year-old flanks are so golden and glossy we bet even newborn gazelles are staring at the image with awe and envy. Will Angelina Jolie look that good naked in 7 years and, we're guessing, a couple more pregnancies from now? Well done, Jen!

The first look at Marley & Me, the movie adapation of John Grogan's memoir about his struggles with a loveable galoot of a dog, has hit the net.
In the teaser, we see Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston running down the beach after a presumably run-away Marley. No real indication of the havoc Marley invariably will wreak, but damn that puppy is C-U-T-E.
What do you think? Check out the trailer on our Marley & Me page.
