Horton Hears a Who continued its impressive run over the weekend, taking the top spot at the box office for the second week in a row with a $25 million tally. Tyler Perry's romantic comedy Meet the Browns led all newcomers, earning $20 million in just over 2000 theaters and easily beating third place finisher Shutter. The Japanese horror import earned a paltry $10.7 million despite the presence of box office dynamo Joshua Jackson. The Judd Apatow-produced comedy teen Drillbit Taylor landed in the fourth spot with a disappointing $10.2 million take. Rounding out the top five was the caveman adventure 10,000 B.C., which earned $8.7 million in its third week in release.
