Kate DiCamillo's beloved children's book, The Tale of Despereaux, was first published in 2003 and has gone on to sell more than 10 million copies. It is the story of a brave little mouse born without the usual fears of his brethren. He also has ears that would give Dumbo a run for his money. The movie adaptation of DiCamillio's book hits theaters this week and features an impressive vocal cast that includes Matthew Broderick (Despereaux), Dustin Hoffman (Roscuro), Emma Watson (Princess Pea), and Sigourney Weaver (narrator).
ReelzChannel had the chance to speak with the cast above recently and you can hear what they had to say in our Interview with The Tale of Despereaux Cast.

Is there room in the world for another animated children's movie about loveable rodents? That is the question Universal is seeking to answer with The Tale of Despereaux, a fairy tale about mice, magical lands, and, erm, soup.
The Tale of Despereaux, with voices by none other than Matthew Broderick and Dustin Hoffman, frolics into theaters this Christmas. In the meantime, have a look at these stills from the movie in our The Tale of Despereaux photo gallery.
