For an overly obsessed fan of Twilight (note the username!) I have to admit that I was slightly disappointed with the final product. After a year-long wait, the movie just didn't hold up to my expectations. A week later, I was introduced to this film, and I fell in love. This movie completely makes up for any disappointment I felt while watching Twilight and then some. It is amazing!

This is an excellent vampire movie, layered on top of a heartfelt exploration of childhood angst and friendship. Amazingly well done, and much more artistic and subtle than American vampire flicks like Blade and the like. This is a touchi...(Read full post...)
